This year the Wellesley Public School is utilizing a new system, ArxEd: LITIX Academy, to provide staff with annual mandatory training. This platform will replace the Google slide deck used in years past. ArxEd: LITIX Academy offers training through a series of brief videos, accompanied by some content created specifically for and by WPS staff.

No later than 4:00pm on October 31, 2025, staff are expected to complete the training in its entirety. The training can be completed in one session or in stages.
State Ethics Training
In addition to the district mandatory training, the State Ethics Commission created an online mandatory training program for all staff. Public employees must complete the online training program within 30 days of appointment, and then every 2 years thereafter. Public employees must acknowledge in writing that they received the summary of the conflict of interest law within 30 days of election or appointment, and then annually thereafter.
To access the learning management system, new employees must create an account using聽this聽. Select 鈥淲ellesley鈥 and enter Wellesley School Department as your 鈥渄epartment, board or agency.鈥 An access code will be sent to your email address from 鈥noreply@skillburst.com鈥 and will provide you with the link to create your password and begin the training.听For employees who have already created an account, they will receive periodic reminders about required tasks from聽noreply@skillburst.com.听
Completion of these mandatory training and education requirements will be automatically recorded with the State Ethics Commission.听 Employees are not required to send the certificates of completion to Human Resources.
KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training
You will be assigned to an online asynchronous Cybersecurity Training Path based on your role at WPS. Look for an e-mail from training.knowbe4.com with the subject line 鈥淵ou’ve been enrolled in WPS Cybersecurity Training from KnowBe4.鈥 The e-mail will contain your unique link to begin the training, and you will receive periodic reminders until it is completed.
