Instruction in A.B.C. covers the history of bookmaking, creative sketching and writing exercises, and the fundamentals of bookmaking and book arts using a variety of techniques. Students have the opportunity to explore techniques in bookbinding and bookmaking, including: folded and sewn structures, pop-ups, sculptural, Japanese stab binding, and Tunnel Books. Students make use of collage, image transfer, monoprinting, and simple block printing techniques for creating original Artists\u2019 Books.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 Over his 30-year teaching career he has taught at Primary, Secondary, and the College levels. He has a B.S. in Journalism from The University of Kansas, a B.F.A. in Printmaking and Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art (Mass Art), and a M.S.A.E. from Mass Art.
