To all students: Please take the time to fill out a Gratitune card during lunch today to say thank you to any adult at WMS. A table will be set up outside of the cafeteria in the hallway. \u00a0Members of the 7th Grade Chorus will deliver them during D and F blocks on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Attention 8th graders: We are looking for 8th grade tour guides for the 5th grade parent\/guardian WMS orientation on Tuesday night, March 24th between 6:30-8:30 pm. It\u2019s a great opportunity for you to welcome new families to WMS and share your experiences. \u00a0If you are interested, please come down to the main office and submit your name for consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We are looking for student designs for our Grades 6 and 7 Mini Marathon t-shirts and Grade 8 end-of-year activities. Please submit a design on an 8-\u00bd\u201d by 11\u201d sheet of paper to the\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Main Office no later than Friday, March 13. If you have questions please speak with your Art teacher or the Main Office staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating? \u00a0This evening starts<\/span>\u00a0the Jewish celebration of Purim.\u00a0<\/span>Purim celebrates the story of how Queen Esther saved the Jews from Haman who plotted against them. People celebrate by reading the story of Queen Esther, wearing costumes, and eating special triangular cookies called a hamatashan which is shaped like Haman’s hat.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Holidays!<\/span><\/p>\n

6th grade students in Ms. Moore\u2019s tutoring program, please report directly to the library after school today.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Yearbook Club will be meeting after school tomorrow, Tuesday this week in Room 300 instead of Monday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. \u00a0The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.<\/span><\/p>\n
